About the Role
Hear for Kids is a division of Deaf Services Queensland focusing on early intervention services for Deaf and hard of hearing infants and children. Hear for Kids provides access to Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Teachers of the Deaf through a number of programs including the ECDP Program, Hear for Kids in School, Better Start and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
We are always keen to receive expressions of interest from experienced and highly motivated professionals with experience in early childhood and deafness.
The successful incumbent will have highly developed engagement and communication skills and have the ability to provide individualised services to infants and children as part of a transdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals.
Deaf Connect is the new name for Deaf Services and the Deaf Society, Australia’s largest whole of life support service for Deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing Australians.
