About The Games
At Deaf Connect, we’re proud to champion an event that brings our community together through sport, connection and shared experience.
The Games provide a unique opportunity for members of the Deaf Community to take part in a national competition that supports the growth and recognition of deaf sport. Through the games, participants can:
- Compete at both social and elite levels
- Build connections and strengthen community
- Experience the physical and mental health benefits of sport
- Be part of an inclusive environment that celebrates deaf identity and culture
- Progress through selection pathways for international deaf sporting events
At its heart, the Australian Deaf Games are about coming together to celebrate achievement, connection and community, captured in the spirit of “Achieving Sunshine Moments Together”.
