Community Access - Deaf Connect

Our Services

Community members can get personal support with document translations, information access, referrals to connect with services, individual advocacy support, and access to technology.

Community Access sessions are available in person at one of our offices at set times, or through video connection from 9:30am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

We offer both Walk-in and Virtual Community Access services. See below for more details on each.

Walk-in Community Access 

Get in-person support from your local Community Access staff member. Our staff have the local connections and experience to support you in a wide variety of cases, including for individual advocacy.

Walk-in Community Access is available at specific times during the week at several locations across Australia, including Cairns, Townsville, Maryborough, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Lismore, Sydney, Adelaide and Darwin.

Virtual Community Access

Access Deaf supports from anywhere in Australia with our Virtual Community Access service.

It is also available Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 4:00pm, and can be accessed using video call, email or SMS.
