Auslan for Families - Deaf Connect

Auslan at Home

Our Auslan at Home service provides a tailored Auslan learning program to suit the needs of individual families. As a family accessing this service, you will receive personalised teaching on topics/situations that are relevant to your family.

As well as learning the language, our Deaf tutors will provide cultural awareness training (eg. gaining attention, how to eat and sign at the dinner table) to ensure that you are able to create a positive and enriching language environment at home.

The sessions run for a minimum of 1 hour per week at a time that suits both your family and the tutor. You can also book as many sessions as you like.
