Overview
Deaf Connect (Registered Training Organisation #41192) is the largest provider of Auslan and Interpreter qualifications in Australia. We currently deliver courses in ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA & WA to over 1,000 students per year.
Qualifications received through DC are recognised by employers and other educational facilities.

Qualification and Bridging Courses
Deaf Connect (DC) provides a range of qualifications in Auslan starting from the Certificate II in Auslan all the way to the Diploma of Interpreting.

A basic introduction to signing in Auslan. | Develop your ability to use appropriate cultural and Auslan skills for problem solving and interactions. | Designed to provide training in how to sign in a range of unpredictable, more challenging tasks at an autonomous level | Auslan for people who want to become sign language users with skills and knowledge applications across a broad range of technical and/or management requirements. | Designed to develop your skills and knowledge to interpret between two languages, the Diploma of Interpreting prepares interpreters for work typically in the community and business domains. |

Deaf Connect is the trading name of the Registered Training Organisation of Deaf Services (RTO#41192). We offer nationally recognised qualifications in Auslan through the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) of Deaf Services (RTO #41192).

Recognition Processes - Credit Transfer (CT) and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Students who have completed some formal/informal training and/or have proficiency in Auslan may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Queensland VET Investment Program
As part of the Queensland VET Investment program, the Queensland Government provides Deaf Connect (DC) access to funding under the Certificate 3 Guarantee and Higher Level Skills programs.
The Certificate 3 Guarantee is targeted at Certificate III qualifications and, in certain circumstances, lower-lever vocational qualifications.
The Higher Level Skills subsidies are provided for a select number of Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma level qualifications.
