We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Interpreter Gallery which allows you to see and choose from our extensive list of Auslan Interpreters! The gallery was launched to celebrate Interpreter Appreciation Day across Australia – where we celebrate all of the Interpreters who play a crucial role as allies and communication bridges for both the Deaf and hearing communities. This exciting feature makes it easier to view our Auslan Interpreters and connect with them as per usual via our bookings team!
What is the Interpreter Gallery?
The Interpreter Gallery is a visual database where you can find, browse, and book registered Auslan Interpreters at Deaf Connect. It’s designed to be user-friendly, allowing you to search for Interpreters by location, name, or qualification. This gallery will grow over time as we continue to add more of our 400+ registered Interpreters, so keep checking back!
How Does It Work?
When you visit our website, you can navigate to the Interpreter Gallery to see a list of Interpreters. If you recognise a face or know the name of an Interpreter you’d like to book, it’s easy to find them. You can also search for Interpreters based on your location to find those nearest to you. To book, simply click on the Interpreter’s profile and follow the contact instructions to reach out to our bookings team. By having a visual gallery, you can easily identify who you may have worked with in the past and make bookings based on your preferences.
You can still book an Interpreter or live captioning services as you usually do from the ‘Book an Interpreter’ part of our Interpreting Services Page.
