In late November the Deaf Connect Parramatta Office played host to Emma and Hayley Watkins for an informal event to celebrate their Amazing Race victory.
A small group of staff and invited guests came together to thank the sisters for their support of the Leonie Jackson Memorial Fund and find out more about their time on Channel 10’s Amazing Race.
Also present was Elvin Lam, along with members of Leonie’s family, and guests close to the work of the fund.
A huge congratulations again to Emma and Hayley, and the thanks of our team, and future grant recipients for the support you have shown for bi-lingual education outcomes for Deaf Australians.
