Deaf Connect has a selection of accredited courses available for Deaf and hard of hearing adults aged 15 or over, led by our deaf trainers who work with you and support you with your study. The courses are delivered in Auslan and spoken English.

QLD Courses

There’s still time to join our Life Skills in Auslan course for deaf people.

Classes will be at our Deaf Connect office in Moorooka every Wednesday from either 9am – 1pm or 2pm – 6pm, starting on the 17th of April and there will be many Enrolment Days throughout the course.

Topics in the course include:

Tech Savvy Seniors

Deaf Connect are excited to share that we are running two new exciting iPad and Digital Skills Courses for Seniors in partnership with the Australian Government.

Join the Tech Savvy Seniors Program brought to you in partnership with Telstra and the NSW Government in select locations across New South Wales. Or if you’re based in Queensland, you can join our newly introduced Be Connected Program brought to you in Partnership with the Australian Government.

These programs will teach you how to keep in touch with friends and family, access government, health, and other essential services and discover more information on a variety of topics.
