Deaf Connect is actively building our network across the globe.
Here are just a few ways we are doing this.
Global connection
Earlier this year, Deaf Connect sponsored 35 community members including some youth and Deaf Connect staff to attend the XXI World Federation of the Deaf World Congress and associated events in South Korea.
Partnership with Gallaudet University
Deaf Connect announced a ground-breaking partnership with Gallaudet University. This multi-year partnership involved key initiatives including, education and training programs, community engagement and raising awareness about challenges that deaf the Deaf community.

Deaf Leadership Workshop
Deaf Connect delivered a Deaf Leadership Workshop in Jeju, South Korea with Gallaudet University and the World Federation of the Deaf, focusing on contemporary leadership practices.
