Welcome to National Week of Deaf People (NWDP) 2023!
We adopt the World Federation of the Deaf’s daily themes for the International Week of Deaf People for use throughout NWDP.
Today’s theme is “Declaration of the Rights of the Deaf Child”
Last year we released a report that explores the benefits of Auslan in Early Intervention approaches for Deaf children in collaboration with Deaf Australia and Per Capita.
Also, we were at the World Federation of the Deaf XXI General Assembly in South Korea, our members approved the Declaration on the Rights of Deaf Children.
