Thank you to everyone across Australia who joined our Deaf Space consultations!
Over the last few months, we learned from many of you about what Deaf Space means to you. Deaf Space is not just about buildings! It’s about how places can help or make it hard for Deaf people to connect, feel included, and belong.
We learned a lot from your stories. Every visit gave us new ideas and helped us understand what works — and what doesn’t — in different spaces. We are now working on a report to share what we found. But before that, we want to say thank you. Thank you for coming, for sharing, and for helping us learn.
We hope these talks will help create better, more welcoming places for Deaf people around Australia. While you wait for the report, we’d love for you to enjoy some of our favourite photos from the consultations.
