On Monday and Tuesday we will turn the Story Bridge, Wickham Terrace Car Park and Breakfast Creek Bridge blue as part of the Shining a Blue Light on Sign Languages initiative started by World Federation of the Deaf in 2022.
You may have also seen some banners promoting Auslan and National Week of Deaf People in cities around the country – make sure if you see any of these activations, you take a photo and share!
Deaf Connect are hosting some events as well as Deaf Australia, or your local organisation. There’s plenty of events happening so make sure get out and celebrate!
