Description
If a fire starts, the Bellman Visit Smoke Detector identifies the presence of smoke and increased heat, and transmits a signal to your Visit receiver/s to alert you with flashing light, vibration and/or loud sounds (depending on the receiver), so you have time to escape to safety.
Your Bellman Visit Smoke Detectors cannot be interconnected with standard audible smoke detectors installed in your home.
But the current model Bellman Visit Smoke Detector (BE1289) can be interconnected with up to 40 other BE1289 Bellman Visit Smoke Detectors. So with multiple Bellman Visit Smoke Detectors installed, even if a fire starts in the far corner of large home, as soon as oneSmoke Detector is triggered then all interconnected Smoke Detectors will be triggered and the entire household alerted via loud sound and in-range Bellman Visit receivers.
If you purchase two or more Bellman Visit Smoke Detectors (including in Packs), they will be interconnected by our suppliers before shipping. But if you purchase multiple devices through separate transactions, you can easily interconnect the devices yourself. Simply press 3 times on the test button in the centre of a Smoke Detector. It will light up blue. Then press 3 times on the test button of another Smoke Detector. Both Smoke Detectors will light up green to confirm they are linked.
The Bellman Visit Smoke Detector is equipped with a function to mute false alarms while you are cooking.
