How We Can Help
Deaf Connect social workers work closely with participants to:
- Assess the needs of the client
- Provide support around life transitions
- Improve social and emotional development
- Provide advocacy and referrals to appropriate services
- Promote resilience, confidence and autonomy for the client
Our Team
Deaf Connect social workers are experts in addressing the unique needs and support that each client requires. They will work with you and/or your child to develop communication, social, emotional, and self-empowerment skills. This also include play, conflict resolution and risk awareness skills.
Deaf Connect social workers will collaboratively explore the pathways that lead to a good life for the individual and ensure the best approach is taken for every client.
