PROUD ACCESSIBILITY PARTNERS

Deaf Connect are once again proud Accessibility Partners of the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2025! This year, we’re providing interpreters for a number of shows and at the ticket office, as well as offering ‘Come and Try’ Auslan classes for Fringe staff and Deaf Awareness Training (DAT) for festival volunteers.

Adelaide Fringe has delivered more Auslan Interpreted shows each year since the start of our partnership in 2023, with some of the most popular shows ranging from circus performances to stand-up comedy and burlesque. 2024 saw the start of our DAT program being offered to 150 festival volunteers, enabling them to learn more about the Deaf experience and how to work with artists and Auslan interpreters.
