Learning Auslan (Australian Sign Language) is a meaningful way to connect with Deaf culture, community and language.
Deaf Connect has a long and proud history of teaching Auslan classes in Sydney. We offer casual and accredited Auslan courses both in Sydney and across New South Wales.
Our team of experienced Deaf tutors deliver a range of courses both face to face and online. Alternatively, if you prefer to learn at your own pace, our Sign Online course offers over 14 hours of videos and fun quizzes to explore!
We also have courses for Deaf adults and Auslan users based in NSW, Deaf Awareness Training for businesses, and private Auslan tutoring for families wit deaf children.

As Australia’s largest Deaf-led education provider, our Deaf trainers teach Auslan with lived experience, cultural insight and a strong commitment to accessible learning. Our programs help people learn Auslan in Sydney in a supportive environment that values connection, representation and community.
Deaf Connect’s origins in NSW date back to the long-standing Deaf Society in Sydney, which was founded in 1913.
As a national service provider and social impact organisation, our organisation Deaf Connect is a registered provider under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and an approved provider of in-home care for Deaf seniors.
We are also the country's largest Auslan interpreting agency and train the next generation of Auslan interpreters and Deaf interpreters through our RTO (Provider Number 41192).
When you choose to enrol in study at an Auslan class in Sydney and across the nation, all profits are invested back into Deaf Connect’s programs, supports and services which benefit and empower the Deaf community.
