Celebrating the National Week of Deaf People 2026, the City of Burnside is pleased to
have to partnered with Deaf Connect for this free interactive storytelling session. Led by a
Deaf presenter in Auslan and supported by an interpreter, this program provides a positive
role model for young Deaf and hard of hearing children and fosters early literacy and
communication development. This session is part of our regular Storytime programming
where young children and their caregivers will enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and a simple
craft activity.
