CBYC 2026
Crossing Borders Youth Camp (CBYC) is a fun, inclusive, five-day camping experience designed to empower Deaf and hard-of-hearing youth aged 12–17 from across Australia.
Held in the Yarra Ranges, Victoria, the camp combines outdoor adventure, leadership development, cultural exchange, and community connection. It is all delivered in a fully accessible, Auslan-rich environment.
CBYC 2026 is proudly delivered in collaboration between Deaf Connect and Deaf Youth Australia.

Campers take part in activities designed to grow confidence, resilience, teamwork, and leadership skills — all in a supportive Deaf-friendly environment.

All Auslan fluency levels are welcome. Interpreters are available throughout the camp, and activities are designed to be inclusive for everyone.

2026 Camp Program
Each day at CBYC offers a mix of team challenges, outdoor adventure activities, workshops, games, and creative sessions.
Activities are designed to:
- Build confidence and new skills
- Encourage connection and teamwork
- Allow time for rest, meals, and socialising
