Deaf Connect hosts a range of Deaf social gatherings, workshops and events nationally. If you are looking for shows, performances or events that include an Auslan Interpreter, please check out our Facebook page where they are posted regularly.
If you have an event or a news story that you would like to share with us, please click here.Â
Join us for a friendly and creative gathering where members of the Deaf community can learn and enjoy a variety of crafts, including card making, crochet, and painting.
Bring your own lunch or purchase something from our café. This is also a great opportunity to socialise, meet new people, and enjoy conversations with others in the community.
Deaf Connect is in Newcastle for the afternoon. Come and say hello to our Community Engagement Coordinator, Sue Jo Wright.
This is a free, open session with no booking needed. Walk in anytime between 1pm and 3pm to meet our team, ask questions, get one-on-one support, or simply connect with us in a welcoming, Deaf-led space.Â
Whether you’re already connected with Deaf Connect or finding us for the first time, you’re welcome to come along.Â
Come to our Enrolment Day to sign up, or text or email our team.
