Join Auslan Storytime this term

Interactive storytelling sessions led by a Deaf presenter in their primary language, serving as a positive role model for young Deaf and hard of hearing children and fostering early literacy development.
The Auslan Storytime program is:
- Led by a Deaf presenter in their first language (Auslan)
- Providing accessible stories and a role model for Deaf and hard of hearing kids
- Supporting early literacy and communication in Auslan and English
- Nurturing social skills in a fun, family-friendly environment
- Free and open for parents to attend
Auslan Storytime sessions are hosted at the following libraries across NSW during School Term 1
City of Ryde – North Ryde Library
Catch Auslan Storytime at North Ryde Library from 9:45am – 10:15am, fortnightly on Saturdays.
Bookings essential. Please register all participants, including carers, as spaces are limited. To register and find more information, visit the City of Ryde website.

Fairfield City Open Library – Bonnyrigg Library
Auslan Storytime at Bonnyrigg Library, NSW, is from 11:00am – 11:30am on Saturdays. Parents or guardians are kindly asked to remain present throughout the session.

Introducing Auslan Storytime in Townsville, a Queensland-first! Auslan Storytime at City Libraries Flinders Street is from 10:00am – 11:00am on the second Saturday of each month. Bookings not necessary.
