Join Auslan Storytime in Term 3 – starting this July!

What is Auslan Storytime?
Auslan Storytime is an interactive storytelling program led by Deaf Connect in collaboration with select libraries across QLD, NSW and WA. Sessions are led by a Deaf presenter in their primary language, serving as a positive role model for Deaf and hard of hearing children.
This term, we have a new library launching their Auslan Storytime sessions: Stirling Libraries – Obsorne in Western Australia!
Auslan Storytime sessions:
- Provide accessible stories and a positive environment for Deaf and hard of hearing kids.
- Support early literacy and communication in Auslan and English.
- Nurture socials skills in a fun, family-friendly space.
- Are free and open for all to attend, including parents.
Auslan Storytime Sessions Term 3 2025:
City of Stirling – Stirling Libraries (Osborne)
Auslan Storytime at Stirling Libraries – Osborne is from 10:30am-11am fortnightly on Thursdays.

City of Ryde – North Ryde Library
Auslan Storytime at North Ryde Library is from 10:15am-10:45am fortnightly on Saturdays.

Auslan Storytime at Citylibraries Flinders Street is from 9:45am-11:00am on the 2nd Saturday of each month.

City of Cairns – Earlville Library
