Auslan Storytime Term 3 2026

What is Auslan Storytime?
Auslan Storytime is an interactive storytelling program led by Deaf Connect in collaboration with select libraries across QLD and NSW. Sessions are led by a Deaf presenter in their primary language, serving as a positive role model for Deaf and hard of hearing children.
Auslan Storytime sessions:
- Provide accessible stories and a positive environment for Deaf and hard of hearing kids.
- Support early literacy and communication in Auslan and English.
- Nurture socials skills in a fun, family-friendly space.
- Are free and open for all to attend, including parents.
Auslan Storytime Sessions Term 3 2026:
City of Ryde – North Ryde Library
Auslan Storytime at North Ryde Library is from 10:15am-10:45am fortnightly on Saturdays.
Registrations not necessary but recommended. For more information, visit the City of Ryde website.

City of Cairns – Smithfield Library
Auslan Storytime at Smithfield Library is from 10:00-10:30am monthly on a Saturday.
