This is Auslan90 – Childcare Abuse Prompts System Review.
A Melbourne childcare worker, Joshua Dale Brown, is facing over 70 charges related to the alleged abuse of at least eight young children, aged just five months to two years old, across multiple centres. Outraged families are demanding answers, as shocking failures in background checks, supervision, and systemic safeguards come to light.
The scandal has sparked national debate on safety and trust in early childhood education, with calls for urgent reform – including stricter phone use rules and increased surveillance of staff and children. Some are even questioning if men should work in the sector. Watch the video to learn more.
