For the 6th year in a row, Deaf Connect are one of the proud sponsors of Cairns NAIDOC Week.
For many years now we’ve been proud to support the Deaf Indigenous community in Cairns, and our sponsorship of NAIDOC each year is just one of the ways that we celebrate the local culture.
NAIDOC Week celebrations will be held from 3-10 July 2022. Deaf Connect will be attending many events throughout the week including the family day event called Friday in the Park on July 8.
At Friday in the Park there will be stalls from small business owners, artists, sole traders and service providers – including Deaf Connect, so be sure to come and say hi! There will be entertainment all day on the stage and community food stalls.
