Week 3 at Gallaudet University gave our team a deeper look into Deaf history and community. A key highlight was visiting the historic Maryland School for the Deaf as a group. Back on campus, we explored Deaf identity with a Deafhood talk and learned about new technology during an AI lab tour.
We also enjoyed connecting with the local Deaf community, including sharing a meal at a Deaf-owned BBQ restaurant. The week wrapped up with final presentations and a certificate ceremony, celebrating all we achieved together.
