We’re thrilled to introduce two of the participants selected for the 2026 Gallaudet University Immersion Program!
Since 2023, Deaf Connect has partnered with Gallaudet University, the world’s leading university for Deaf and hard of hearing people, to provide an immersive experience for Deaf community members to travel to the US.
Through this program, participants gain access to world-class education, connect with Deaf leaders from around the globe, and share ideas that help shape a more inclusive future.
This unique opportunity reflects our ongoing commitment to developing Deaf leaders, strengthening community capacity, and creating lasting impact across Australia.
We congratulate this year’s participants and look forward to seeing how they use their experiences, knowledge, and networks to create positive change within the Deaf community and beyond.
