1:1 Support – Reframing Support Work | WA Adventure World Day Trip

Published on: 6th May 2025

Some of our Deaf Connect Support Workers recently accompanied a group to the Adventure World theme park in Perth, Western Australia!

Did you know that Deaf Connect support services offer much more than daily living assistance? Our support workers work with Deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing participants whose primary language is Auslan to help them achieve their full potential.

For example, the group in the video above were able to enjoy an exciting day out swimming, exploring, and having fun at their local theme park with the assistance of their Deaf Connect Support Workers!

Our support services cater to participants of all backgrounds, abilities, needs, preferences, and personal goals. Whether it’s independent living skills like cooking or shopping, or participation in social activities, like the day trip in the video, our Support Workers provide comprehensive support tailored to the individual participant.
