Auslan Storytime | Term 3

 Join Auslan Storytime at libraries in NSW and QLD from Term 3 and throughout the rest of 2024!

Free, interactive storytelling sessions led by a Deaf presenter in their primary language, serving as a positive role model for young Deaf and hard of hearing children and fostering early literacy development. 

 The Auslan Storytime program is:  

  • Led by a Deaf presenter in their first language (Auslan)  
  • Providing accessible stories and a role model for Deaf and hard of hearing kids  
  • Supporting early literacy and communication in Auslan and English  
  • Nurturing social skills in a fun, family-friendly environment  
  • Free and open for parents to attend  

Auslan Storytime sessions are hosted at the following libraries across NSW during School Term 1


City of Sydney – Glebe Library 

Find Auslan Storytime sessions at Glebe Library! Parents or guardians are required to stay during the session Bookings not necessary.

⏰When: 11:30am – 12:00pm fortnightly on Saturdays during school term.

Auslan Storytime is new to Bonnyrigg Library, NSW! Parents or guardians are kindly asked to remain present throughout the session. Registrations required.
